I’m almost finished. The entire middle section of the book feels like Irving back at his best (A Widow for One Year, Owen Meany, Garp…). His last few I haven’t liked as much.
Next up is rereading Catcher in the Rye and then A People’s History of the US, in honor of the literary deaths of this week.
